Branch Event - Coopers Arms Winter AleFest

Saturday 28 January 2017

The annual pilgrimage to the Cooper Winter AleFest

CAMRA North Sussex Branch have once again organised a bus (courtesy of Dark Star Brewery) for a day out to the “Coopers Arms” in Crowborough, for their Winter Ales Festival, on Saturday 28th January 2017.

There should be an interesting selection of ales available, a mixture of styles and strengths. The times and pick-up points are more or less the same as in previous years:-

HORSHAM (Bus stop across the road from railway station) Depart: 1000

HORSHAM (Rusper Road opposite Tylden Way) Depart: 1005

NEWDIGATE (Surrey Oaks) Depart: 1030

CRAWLEY (Across the road from the railway station) Depart: 1100

THREE BRIDGES (Bus stop outside ‘Snooty Fox’ pub) Depart: 1105

EAST GRINSTEAD (High Street outside Barclays Bank) Depart: 1130

We should arrive at the pub at around 1215 and stay until 1645. On the return journey we will make one stop at the “Anchor” at Hartfield, departing from there no later than 1800. We will pour people off the bus at the locations where they joined earlier in the day. Food is available at the pub and regular participants will know what to expect.

The cost of the day out will not exceed £10 per head, in fact the more that come along, the cheaper it gets. If you wish to come along, please send a note to me at ku.oc.liarkrowten@renoopS.reteP to confirm your interest and let me know where you wish to board the bus. I would appreciate a deposit of £5 a head and I can collect at an appropriate time, or if you insist, send me a cheque.

I can provide an address if required.I look forward to seeing you on the day,
